The Facilitator Training and Certification is a structured professional pathway designed to equip practitioners with the capacity to deliver a participant-led arts and leadership model that strengthens agency, emotional regulation, and collective intelligence in young people. Developed through extensive work in youth and community contexts, this certification translates complex relational, somatic, and creative processes into a clear, replicable framework that can be embedded within organisations or applied in one-to-one practice. At its core, the training is not about delivering activities—it is about learning how to hold process, space, and decision-making in a way that shifts young people from passive participation into self-led leadership.

The model is built around a simple four-step facilitation process that integrates nervous system regulation, relational safety, connection to environment and place, and creative agency. Facilitators are trained to guide participants through cycles of grounding and regulation, choice and decision-making, creative visioning, and collective co-creation. This approach supports young people to build internal stability, strengthen their capacity to work within groups, and develop clarity in their own direction and expression.

The methodology is adaptable across settings, including community programs, schools, outreach environments, and therapeutic or psychosocial support contexts, and can be applied both in group-based facilitation and one-to-one work with young people.

The certification is delivered as an online professional training consisting of structured video modules, guided frameworks, and implementation tools, allowing practitioners to integrate the methodology at their own pace and within their own practice setting. In addition, an optional one-to-two-day in-person delivery training is available for organisations seeking deeper implementation support, team alignment, or program embedding. This training is suitable for mental health practitioners, youth workers, educators, outreach and community workers, and professionals working within youth development and wellbeing systems. It is also designed for those delivering individual support work, providing a transferable methodology that strengthens both relational practice and program delivery capability.
