CC, Nanee, Ruth, Latoya, and Chelsea created and performed We Are Strong Women. They wrote the lyrics, music, clothing, and location themselves, shaping a song that speaks to strength, connection to country and culture, and the importance of protecting and supporting one another.

The Fashion Shoot
In this project, participants chose to explore fashion as a form of self-expression. They dyed fabric and created clothing using natural dyes, including ironwood tree with guidance from community elders. Together, they dug and boiled roots, then transformed white fabric into unique garments.
The participants designed the full look—selecting makeup, hairstyles, and backdrops for their photo shoot. This video captures the entire process from start to finish.
