Creative Workshops + Marketplace

A structured creative workshop where young women develop original artworks within a guided framework, with the option to sell their work through the Girls on Country marketplace.

Book Workshop

This is a structured creative workshop designed for young women to explore artistic expression, creative decision-making, and collaborative practice within a supported group environment.

Participants are guided through a contained creative process that leads to the development of finished artworks, with a focus on agency, expression, and meaningful creative output.

This is not an open-ended arts activity. It is a structured creative production experience designed to generate tangible artistic work.

The workshop is delivered in a facilitated group setting and follows a clear creative structure:

  • Introduction to creative process and materials

  • Guided exploration and concept development

  • Individual artwork creation within a supported framework

  • Completion of finished artworks

Throughout the process, participants are supported to make their own creative decisions while working within a structured environment that enables focus, confidence, and completion.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants may choose to make their completed artworks available through the Girls on Country marketplace. This creates an optional pathway for creative work to be shared publicly and accessed by a wider audience, supporting visibility of participant-created work beyond the workshop environment.

This element introduces a real-world creative economy pathway, where artistic expression can move beyond process and into public engagement.

This workshop is designed for organisations and practitioners working with young women in:

  • Youth development programs

  • Schools and alternative education settings

  • Community and outreach services

  • Cultural and wellbeing programs

  • Remote and regional communities

It is particularly relevant for contexts where creative engagement, structured support, and identity development are central to youth programming.

ORGANISATIONAL DELIVERY

This workshop is delivered in-person within your organisation or community setting and is designed for groups of up to 20 participants per session.

The delivery includes full facilitation of a structured creative process that guides participants from initial concept development through to the completion of finished artworks within a supported group environment. Participants are guided to develop original work with a focus on expression, decision-making, and completion, rather than open-ended activity. At the conclusion of the workshop, selected artworks can be uploaded to the Girls on Country marketplace to support visibility and access to a broader audience. Participants are also provided with practical guidance on how to develop and refine their work so it is suitable for presentation within the marketplace context.

Materials are not included in the delivery and must be supplied by the host organisation.
